Red Tape

I cannot imagine what it's like to be separated from my family after a harrowing journey to escape certain death. Argue as much as you please, but incarcerating youth is not a solution. So while we are caught up in the jargon of bible verses and adhering to the law, children are caught up in red tape, fear and the scarcity of love.
