Remember Me Always

San Francisco’s problems coexist in strange ways with the latest technology. This painting was inspired by recent time spent playing Pokémon GO in the streets of the Mission and Bernal Heights neighborhoods. As I walked I couldn’t help but find myself in deep contemplation of the tension between my playful activity and the reality of homeless residents’ lives.
